Wears protective clothing, glasses, and remains behind protective enclosure during x-ray exposure. </span><br /><span style="font-family: calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Monitors procedures with skill in using specialized equipment as assigned in accordance with established protocols. </span><br /><span style="font-family: calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Assists the physician in the response to and management of all emergency situations. </span><br /><span style="font-family: calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Demonstrates the ability to perform in an accurate and timely manner during critical or emergency situations. </span><br /><span style="font-family: calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Utilizes necessary accessories to enhance image quality. </span><br /><span style="font-family: calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Demonstrates skills needed to monitor patient’s hemodynamics, recognizing changes, and implementing appropriate interventions that meet our standards of patient care. </span><br /><span style="font-family: calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Ability to recognize EKG tracing changes in-patient and responds according to protocol. </span><br /><span style="font-family: calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Monitors procedures with skill in using specialized equipment as assigned in accordance with established protocols. </span><br /><span style="font-family: calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Demonstrates ability to function as a Scrub Tech during Cardiac Cath procedures, observes sterile field guidelines, practices aseptic techniques, and strictly obeys isolation and infection control policies. </span><br /><span style="font-family: calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Responsible for knowing and maintaining the measurements described in the conscious sedation policy. </span><br /><span style="font-family: calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Remove catheters and sheaths from patients and monitors homeostasis according to established protocols. Understands the procedures of the observation area. </span><br /><span style="font-family: calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Demonstrates ability to assist in the documentation of Quality Control and Preventive Maintenance. Completes documentation required by Cardiac Cath Lab, hospital, state, and federal requirements. Monitors and documents supplies on the crash cart. </span><br /><span style="font-family: calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Assists in the transportation of patients and ensures the patient is properly covered and continues assessment </span><br /><span style="font-family: calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Handles telephone information requests with courtesy, accuracy, and respect for confidentiality. </span><br /><span style="font-family: calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Maintains confidentiality and privacy of all data, records, forms, reports and procedures and any other information regarding customer relations of ARMC 100% of the time. </span><br /><span style="font-family: calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Provides explanation of procedures and properly records this education on patients’ charts prior to performance of procedure; transfers patient to examination table, positions patient correctly, and assists patient at end of procedure. </span><br /><span style="font-family: calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Delivers direct patient care appropriate to the ages of the patients served. </span><br /><span style="font-family: calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Responsible for utilization of physiological monitoring and recording apparatus during special procedures. </span><br /><span style="font-family: calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Ensures that all patient charges are properly recorded and sent to the appropriate location. </span><br /><span style="font-family: calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Monitors and documents supplies on crash cart. </span><br /><span style="font-family: calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Responsible for supply utilization and ongoing maintenance. Assists in the inventory stocking and updating throughout the department. </span><br /><span style="font-family: calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Prepares room, equipment, contrast media and materials as needed for procedures. </span><br /><span style="font-family: calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Responsible for maintaining a clean, well-stocked and safe working environment; responsible for checking and testing equipment prior to use. </span><br /><span style="font-family: calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Properly warms equipment daily, and assures equipment is working properly. If equipment is not functioning properly, notifies the appropriate person. </span><br /><span style="font-family: calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Will perform a sponge count prior to the start of a pacemaker procedure and at the close of the procedure. </span><br /><span style="font-family: calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">On-Call: Reports within 30 minutes for a call in.
