Direct Hire : This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. CDL-A Direct Hire Driver Details: <ul> <li>Schedule: Company operates 7 days per week but drivers will typically work a 5-day week / 1st Shift / regional & local routes <li>Pay: $25-$30 per hour <li>Route Type: Residential & commercial moving <li>Freight / Load Type: Furniture, moving boxes, etc. <li>Equipment: CDL-A tractor trailer, dry van, automatic <li>Handling: Heavy touch </ul> CDL-A Direct Hire Driver Minimum Requirements: <ul> <li>License: CDL-A <li>Experience: at least 1-2 years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience. prefers candidates with some moving company experience if possible <li>Endorsements: None <li>Equipment Experience: CDL-A tractor trailer experience, moving company experience preferred <li>Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) <li>Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements </ul> CDL-A Driver Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Safely operate equipment on regional or local routes <li>Transport items for residential & commercial moving jobs mainly east of Mississippi River and sometimes as far as Texas in accordance with DOT and company safety standards <li>Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections <li>Maintain accurate logs and paperwork <li>Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations <li>Heavy touch position, drivers must assist with loading/unloading, will have a crew of 1-5 helpers depending on the size of the job. </ul> Benefits: <ul> <li>Medical, dental, and vision insurance <li>Paid time off <li>401(k) <li>Referral program </ul> Why Work With TransForce?
