The Foster Parent Development Specialist will actively market and promote the Health Connect America, Inc. Foster Parent Program, manage relationships with prospective and current foster parents, and assist with various administrative and compliance duties. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:<ul><li style="margin-left: .25in;">Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote foster care programs.</li><li style="margin-left: .25in;">Conduct outreach through mail-outs, press releases, group presentations, and individual meetings.</li><li style="margin-left: .25in;">Engage promptly with potential applicants, ensuring timely follow-up from initial contact through the application process.</li><li style="margin-left: .25in;">Recruit, train, and license foster homes in alignment with state regulatory requirements and organizational benchmarks, with specific targets established through state or program-level performance plans.</li><li style="margin-left: .25in;">Provide regular orientation training for prospective foster parents, as well as ongoing training on assigned topics, in accordance with state requirements and organizational standards.</li><li style="margin-left: .25in;">Assist in the development and implementation of behavioral treatment plans.</li><li style="margin-left: .25in;">Maintain an annual schedule of ongoing training monthly meetings for foster parents.</li><li style="margin-left: .25in;">Participate in licensing activities including home studies and making recommendations for licensure. </li><li style="margin-left: .25in;">Complete and submit licensing packets to the appropriate state agency.</li><li style="margin-left: .25in;">Maintain up-to-date parent charts and ensure all required documentation is accurate and submitted timely.</li><li style="margin-left: .25in;">Support other Health Connect America offices by providing training and guidance in setting up and maintaining foster parent licensing requirements.</li><li style="margin-left: .25in;">Support the oversight and coordination of foster homes in collaboration with program leadership.</li><li style="margin-left: .25in;">Develop corrective action plans and provide ongoing oversight to foster homes.</li><li style="margin-left: .25in;">Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.</li></ul> Qualifications: Education & Experience:<ul><li style="margin-left: .25in;">Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or a related field.</li><li style="margin-left: .25in;">Two years of related experience working with children and families in a therapeutic treatment environment.</li><li style="margin-left: .25in;">Must possess a valid driver's license with consistent access to reliable transportation and automobile insurance in good standing.</li></ul>State Specific Requirements:<ul><li style="margin-left: .25in;">North Carolina <ol><li>Must meet criteria as a Qualified Professional in the state of NC</li></ol></li><li style="margin-left: .25in;">South Carolina<ol><li>Must obtain certification through SC DSS as a Certified Investigator</li></ol></li></ul> Be Well with HCA: <ul style="margin: 0px;
