Job description
<p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: 10pt;">Support all Manufacturing Engineering functions for North America powertrain battery tray/frame, casting, components, engine, and transmission programs. Their primary role is to participate within an Engineering team to develop and launch processes that meet all objectives for safety, quality, delivery, and cost for both new model (NM), non-new model (NNM), and adaptation programs.</span></p>
<p><br /><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: 10pt;">Main responsibilities include: </span></p>
<ul>
<li><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: 10pt;">Perform assessments for process changes and related investment requirements for cost studies</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: 10pt;">Understand engineering scope definition, Requests for Quotes (RFQ’s), sourcing, technical evaluations, design, manufacturing, and installation of air/mist/coolant collectors and filtration</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: 10pt;">Support and prioritize the Non-New Model (NNM) powertrain programs requests and ensure that approved programs are completed on time and within budget</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: 10pt;">Support all New Model (NM) program’s facilities aspects including site preparation and machine installation</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: 10pt;">Support flow activities on programs ensuring successful implementation and tracking of the Iron Triangle (Scope, Timing, and Cost)</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: 10pt;">Participate in the implementation of Stellantis Production Way (SPW) methodology, supporting all activities including deployment of advanced SPW tools and guide systematic root cause problem solving methods to attack risks</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: 10pt;">Development/improvement of process and equipment standards related to facilities infrastructure.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: 10pt;">Manufacturing Plants located in Dundee, Michigan (MI), Trenton, Michigan (MI), Kokomo, Indiana (IN) and Saltillo, Mexico (MX); Transmission Plants in Kokomo and Tipton, Indiana (IN); Casting Plants in Kokomo, Indiana (IN) and Etobicoke, Ontario (ON), Toledo, Ohio (OH) in conjunction with Global Center of Competency initiatives</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: 10pt;">Drive standardization across plants in all regions</span></li>
