Per Diem Registered Nurse - Short Stay Observation (3 Mandell)

<div data-field="description" class="jd-description"><span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="line-height:115%"><span style="font-family:Aptos,sans-serif"><b>Position Summary/ Department Summary:</b><br>We are seeking a per diem Registered Nurse to join the team within our Post Anesthesia Care Observation Unit on 3 Mandell.</span></span></span><br><br><span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="line-height:115%"><span style="font-family:Aptos,sans-serif"><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></span></span></span><ul style="margin-bottom:11px"><li><span style="font-family: Aptos, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Caring for post-surgical pediatric patients</span></li><li><span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="tab-stops:list .5in"><span style="line-height:115%"><span style="font-family:Aptos,sans-serif">Working collaboratively in a family-centered environment.</span></span></span></span></li><li><span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="tab-stops:list .5in"><span style="line-height:115%"><span style="font-family:Aptos,sans-serif">Ability to work a Day/Night rotation. Primarily 12-hour shifts, with some flexibility needed for 8- and 10-hour shifts. Weekend requirement will include Friday nights and/or Saturday days. No Sundays, no on-call requirements currently. Holidays are required.</span></span></span></span></li></ul><span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="line-height:115%"><span style="font-family:Aptos,sans-serif"><b>Minimum Qualifications<br>Education:</b></span></span></span><ul><li style="margin-bottom: 11px;"><span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="tab-stops:list .5in"><span style="line-height:115%"><span style="font-family:Aptos,sans-serif">A Bachelor of Science in Nursing.</span></span></span></span></li></ul><span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="line-height:115%"><span style="font-family:Aptos,sans-serif"><b>Experience:</b></span></span></span><ul style="margin-bottom:11px"><li><span style="font-family: Aptos, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Minimum of 2 years of inpatient Boston Children’s Hospital RN experience or 2 years of other pediatric inpatient experience.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="tab-stops:list .5in"><span style="line-height:115%"><span style="font-family:Aptos,sans-serif">Post-surgical care experience preferred.</span></span></span></span></li></ul><span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="line-height:115%"><span style="font-family:Aptos,sans-serif"><b>Licensure/ Certifications:</b></span></span></span><ul><li><span style="font-family: Aptos, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Current Massachusetts license as a Registered Nurse</span></li></ul></div><div data-field="payStatement" class="jd-payStatement"><p>The posted pay range is Boston Children’s reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.</p><p>Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
