Unit Overview The Diagnostic Radiology Department at The George Washington University Hospital is a fast-paced, high-acuity imaging service that supports the hospital’s Level I Trauma Center and broad range of tertiary care programs. Our team provides comprehensive imaging across multiple modalities, including CT, MRI, ultrasound, X-ray, mammography, nuclear medicine, and interventional procedures, using advanced, state-of-the-art technology. Position Summary The Diagnostic Radiology Registered Nurse provides specialized nursing care for patients undergoing imaging procedures, ensuring safe preparation, monitoring, recovery, and coordination of care across the peri-procedural continuum.
