This individual will be responsible for making normal operating adjustments to the equipment and material being hauled. That’s why we give you a wide range of benefits to choose from.  All regular full time employees may enroll in a variety of health and welfare plans including medical, dental and vision plans.  Other benefits include life insurance, disability coverage, employee assistance program, and retirement program.  The company also has a variety of voluntary benefits for employees to choose from.</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:18.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Compensation</b></H2></div><div><p>Hourly $48.14</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:18.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Responsibilities</b></H2></div><div><ul><li>Conduct daily pre-trip/post-trip vehicle inspections</li><li>Deliver ready-mix concrete to various job sites</li><li>Operate a multi-axle mixer truck safely, obeying all traffic laws</li><li>Clean and wash vehicle to include the removal of concrete buildup on all exterior parts of the mixer</li><li>Must be willing to work according to customer demands</li><li>Operate a radio to communicate with company personnel</li><li>Adhere to all safety regulations including company policies, state, and federal regulations</li><li>Responsible for reporting all incidents/injuries to management as soon as they occur</li><li>Attend safety meetings as scheduled by management</li></ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:18.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Education</b></H2></div><div><p>High School Diploma/GED</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:18.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Requirements/Qualifications</b></H2></div><div><ul><li>Must have current Commercial Class A or B driver’s license with airbrakes and tank endorsement</li><li>Safe driving record (will have to provide DMV H-6 printout) - no serious moving violations within the past 36 months; no more than two moving violations within the past 24 months</li><li>Must have a current Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical Certificate</li><li>Ability to read a map and understand verbal and GPS driving route instructions</li><li>Must have familiarity with slumps</li><li>Good attendance and punctuality a must</li><li>Ability to work in extremes of hot and cold weather</li><li>Must have the physical ability to: climb, stoop, bend, squat, frequently lift extension chutes (up to 60 lbs.), stretch, drive/sit and shift gears</li><li>Adhere to all safety regulations including company policies, State, and Federal regulations</li><li>Must be able to work a flexible schedule with flexible hours, hours vary; overtime work, weekends and nights, may be required</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience in ready-mix or heavy construction industries</li><li>2+ years of commercial driving experience</li></ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:18.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Conditions of Employment</b></H2></div><div><p>Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, FMCSA clearance, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
