Job description
Overview: <p style="margin: 0px;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">GovCIO is currently hiring for a Senior Network Architect/SME in Enterprise Level Facilities Security and Industrial Control Systems and Networks for our NIH-CIT proposal. This position is located in Bethesda, MD and is a remote/hybrid position.</span></p> Responsibilities: <p style="margin: 0px;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>The SME role’s responsibilities include: </strong></span></p><ul><li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Coordinate with the Section Manager to evaluate, design, and test architecture designs and services from the roadmap backlog</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Lead the transition of user accepted designs and services to the Operations and Security Teams</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Provide subject matter expertise in Enterprise-level facilities security</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Provide subject matter expertise in Enterprise-level industrial control systems networks (i.e., Supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) networks)</span></li></ul><p style="margin: 0px;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>The Network Architecture role's responsibilities include:</strong></span></p><ul><li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Strategically plan, architect, design, engineer, develop, test, implement, modernize, and enhance the functional capabilities, capacity, and performance of the NIH Network and TIC Services in alignment with NIH future state architecture objectives</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Software and hardware installation, configuration, upgrades, and maintenance</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Team with the Security Section to achieve security architecture requirements</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Maintain technical architecture documentation</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Troubleshooting and problem resolution</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Change management</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Support resources responsible for security implementation, monitoring, maintenance, and vulnerability remediation</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Strategic Transformative planning for network architecture services </span></li></ul> Qualifications: <p style="margin: 0px;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Bachelor's with 12+ years (or commensurate experience) </span><br /><br /></p><p style="margin: 0px;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Required Skills and Experience</span></p><ul><li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">CCIE Certification: Written and practical </span></li><li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Within each of the Cisco Certifications, the following specializations are needed and listed in order of importance: Routing and Switching, Service Provider, Data Center and Wireless </span></li><li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Clearance Required: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.</span></li></ul><p style="margin: 0px;"><br /><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Preferred Skills and Experience: </span></p><p style="margin: 0px;"> </p> Posted Salary Range: USD $108,310.00 - USD $149,027.00 /Yr.
