We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President, Asset Managers & Insurance Lending to join our Investment Management & Insurance Institutional Lending team. This role is located in New York, NY.In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: <ul style="list-style-type: disc; padding-left: 48px;"><li>Responsible for all credit facility components including origination, underwriting and documentation for large, complex credit facilities/credit relationships in the investment management and insurance industries. </li><li>Monitor existing credit portfolios and manage existing and new accounts and client relationships.</li><li>Leverage strong technical expertise to develop tailored credit solutions informed by research and market insights.</li><li>Address complex challenges that directly affect credit quality and/or client experience.</li><li>Collaborate closely with internal partners, including risk management, legal, and relationship managers across various lines of business—to ensure smooth execution of lending transactions.</li><li>Contribute to cross-functional initiatives aimed at enhancing the bank’s lending capabilities.</li></ul> To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: <ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li>Bachelor’s degree in finance or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.</li><li>10–12 years of relevant experience preferred.</li><li>Background in risk analysis, institutional lending, or commercial banking is preferred.</li><li>Experience in reviewing, analyzing and negotiating credit documents.</li><li>Familiarity with investment management, regulated mutual funds, and the insurance industry.</li><li>Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.</li></ul>At BNY, our culture allows us to run our company better and enables employees’ growth and success.
