<div data-field="description" class="jd-description">Position Summary/Department Summary: The Division of Allergy and Immunology is seeking a temporary Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients with allergic conditions. This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality, family-centered care to children and adolescents. Key Responsibilities:<ul><li class="xxxxxx">Provide direct patient care in the outpatient allergy clinic setting.</li><li class="xxxxxx">Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with a variety of allergic conditions, including:<ul style="list-style-type:circle"><li class="xxxxxx">Asthma</li><li class="xxxxxx">Non-allergic hives</li><li class="xxxxxx">Food allergies</li><li class="xxxxxx">Environmental allergies</li><li class="xxxxxx">Medication allergies</li><li class="xxxxxx">Eczema</li></ul></li></ul><ul><li class="xxxxxx">Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.</li><li class="xxxxxx">Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care.</li><li class="xxxxxx">Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and disease management.</li><li class="xxxxxx">Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications: Education<ul><li class="xxxxxx">Master's degree in Nursing required.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li class="xxxxxx">Minimum of two years of pediatric Nurse Practitioner experience required.</li><li class="xxxxxx">Allergy experience strongly preferred.</li><li class="xxxxxx">Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li class="xxxxxx">Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.</li><li class="xxxxxx">Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through.</li><li class="xxxxxx">Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li></ul>Licensure/Certifications<ul><li class="xxxxxx">Current Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) certification required.</li><li class="xxxxxx">Current Massachusetts APRN license required.</li><li class="xxxxxx">Current DEA and MCSR licenses required.</li><li class="xxxxxx">Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers required</li></ul>Schedule/Location:<ul><li>40 hours: 5 8’s (8AM-5PM), 6 sessions per week. </li><li>Temporary coverage October 2026- April/May 2026. </li><li>This position is based primarily at Boston Children's Hospital's main campus Fegan 6 and 2 Brookline Place.</li></ul>This is a non-benefitted position. </div><div data-field="payStatement" class="jd-payStatement">The posted pay range is Boston Children’s reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
