Job description
A well-established, not-for-profit healthcare system in the Seattle, Washington area is actively seeking a full-time Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner to join its expanding Gastroenterology team. This is a collaborative, patient-centered environment serving a diverse population, supported by strong system-wide clinical resources and multidisciplinary coordination.<p><strong> The organization participates in the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program. </strong> </p> Position Overview <p>• Provide comprehensive outpatient gastroenterology care in collaboration with Gastroenterology physicians<br></br><br></br>• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic gastrointestinal conditions<br></br><br></br>• Conduct follow-up visits for patients with IBD, GERD, liver disease, pancreatic disorders, and other digestive health conditions<br></br><br></br>• Provide pre- and post-procedure education and management for endoscopic procedures<br></br><br></br>• Coordinate care with primary care providers, surgeons, oncology, and hepatology teams<br></br><br></br>• Manage medication regimens, including biologics and specialty therapies<br></br><br></br>• Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and care coordination<br></br><br></br>• Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the Gastroenterology service line </p><p> This role is ideal for an APP who values team-based specialty care, clinical autonomy within a collaborative structure, and practicing in a well-supported Gastroenterology program. </p><p><strong> New graduates with strong clinical training in Gastroenterology are encouraged to apply. </strong> </p> Qualifications <p>• Master's or Doctorate degree as a Nurse Practitioner from an accredited program<br></br><br></br>• Board Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner<br></br><br></br>• Washington State NP license (or eligible)<br></br><br></br>• Active/Eligible DEA registration with full prescriptive authority<br></br><br></br>• Experience in Gastroenterology preferred, but not required </p><p> Compensation is open to discussion and commensurate with experience.
