Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner

<strong>Position Title: </strong> Clinical Director (Psych NP)<br><strong>Location: </strong> Omaha, NE<br><strong>Job Type: </strong> Full-Time / Permanent <strong>Position Overview: </strong> <p>We are seeking a compassionate and experienced <strong>Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (Psych NP) </strong> to join our healthcare team in <strong>Omaha, Nebraska </strong>. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment to patients experiencing mental health disorders. You will collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, and support staff to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care. </p> <strong>Key Responsibilities: </strong> <ul><li><p>Conduct psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and follow-up visits for patients across various age groups. </p> </li><li><p>Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and psychotherapy. </p> </li><li><p>Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. </p> </li><li><p>Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate overall care. </p> </li><li><p>Provide patient and family education on mental health conditions and medications. </p> </li><li><p>Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR). </p> </li><li><p>Stay current with developments in psychiatric medicine and best practices in mental health care. </p> </li> </ul> <strong>Qualifications: </strong> <ul><li><p><strong>Education: </strong> Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program. </p> </li><li><p><strong>License: </strong> Active <strong>Nurse Practitioner (NP) </strong> license in the state of <strong>Nebraska </strong>. </p> </li><li><p><strong>Certification: </strong> Board Certified as a <strong>Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) </strong>. </p> </li><li><p><strong>Experience: </strong> Minimum of 3 years of psychiatric or behavioral health experience preferred. </p> </li><li><p>Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and communication skills. </p> </li> </ul> <strong>Schedule & Benefits: </strong> <ul><li><p>Monday-Friday schedule (no weekends or on-call, depending on facility) </p> </li><li><p><strong>Competitive salary: $120,000 - $140,000 annually With Productivity Bonus </strong> </p> </li><li><p>Comprehensive benefits package (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, PTO) </p> </li><li><p>Supportive and collaborative team environment </p> </li> </ul>
