Growing together.</strong></span></p><p><br><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;"><strong>Primary Responsibilities:</strong></span></p><ul><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Performs CT exams and general radiology imaging procedures per department protocol. Responsible for daily operations within the Imaging - CT Department/routine x-ray, including patient schedules, reporting equipment failures, and quality assessment</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Following physicians' orders, produces CT images and routine x-ray images per departmental protocol for the use in diagnosing medical problems</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Greets, correctly identifies patient, prepares patient for examination, and explains specific procedures to be performed in appropriate confidential area</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Obtain necessary consents from the patients and verifies required lab values; Initiates, maintains and discontinues IV access</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Accurately maintains patient imaging records, utilizing the radiology information system (R.I.S.) and PACS/Synapse application, EMR (electronic Medical record) in accordance to HIPAA, and company guidelines, policies and procedure</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Processes CT images/ radiologic digital images, examines for technical quality and diagnostic acceptability, and generates additional plans of images as needed for the Radiologist review</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Knowledgeable process for transferring images into the PAC/Synapse computer system (downtime process, print, Cd copy per protocol)</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Prepares copies of images, preliminary reports, and contacts referring physician when required according to established procedures</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Maintains Imaging equipment, work area, and ensures adequate supplies are available, follows all safety standards and uses radiation protection when operating CT equipment/General x-ray equipment</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Assists lower level employees with more complex issues and problems</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">May also be assigned to other modalities provided incumbent is certified or licensed in those modalities</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Will comply with annual mandatory Fit Testing as a job requirement</span><br> </li></ul><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Exposure to radiation, risk of exposure to blood, body fluids or tissues. Is able to float with varied days/shifts, Rotates within Imaging department to include satellite offices to meet business operations; reliable transportations is required. Flexible to work overtime and on call as needed. Work some Holidays required.</span></p><p><br><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. </span><br> </p><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;"><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></span></p><ul><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">High school education, GED</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Advanced knowledge of CT (imaging) equipment, testing and safety hazards related to radiology</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Comprehensive knowledge of CT (imaging) positioning/procedures and diagnosis</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Advanced understanding in the axial, coronal and sagittal planes of CT images</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Knowledge and experience in performing General radiology routine x-ray</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Excellent communication and interpersonal skills </span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Basic computer skills, RIS & PACS</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Proven ability to effectively communicate technical procedures and results with patients and providers</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Skilled in properly positioning patients to provide quality imaging</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Skilled in starting and stopping IV's (using IV catheters) for contrast injection</span><br> </li></ul><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;"><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></span></p><ul><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">1+ years of experience as a CT Technologist</span></li></ul><p> </p><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
