Position Details:<ul><li>Location: Kenmore - 133 Brookline Avenue, Boston, MA, 02215</li><li>Department: Radiology</li><li>Schedule: Full time, 40 hours/weekly, Monday through Friday 9:00am - 5:30pm OR Four 10-hour shifts Monday through Friday (flexible days)</li></ul> As the Radiology Technologist, you will perform and assist in a variety of standard and specialized radiographic examinations and procedures. Demonstrates competency in all age groups and works in accordance with established policies and procedures. Primary Responsibilities:<ul><li>Works independently using extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, positioning, radiation physics and radiation dosage</li><li>Confirms appropriate clinical data, obtains patient history and uses the lowest possible dose to provide high quality images for the interpreting radiologist</li><li>Delivers excellent customer service and support to patients and clinicians, answering phones, scheduling, and conducting outreach calls on behalf of the radiology department</li><li>Provides for the emotional, physical wellbeing and safety of the patient while maintaining strict standards of patient confidentiality</li><li>Possesses the ability to communicate effectively with patients as well as other members of the health care team</li><li>Understands and is competent in other Radiology Department job responsibilities and performs these functions on a regular basis</li><li>Recognizes and effectively communicates equipment problems in a timely manner to the Department Supervisor</li></ul> You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:<ul><li>High School diploma or equivalency certificate (e.g. GED, HiSET, TASC Test) from an accredited institution or governmental unit</li><li>Graduate of an accredited radiography program</li><li>ARRT License or registry eligible</li><li>Licensed in Massachusetts as a radiologic technologist</li><li>Ability to provide CEU documentation required for licensure</li></ul> Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)</li><li>Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required based on specialty</li><li>1+ years of experience working as a radiology technologist</li><li>C-arm experience for Pain Management</li><li>Knowledge of Digital Radiography, Carestream, Epic, Synapse, Pacsgear, answering phones and scheduling exams</li></ul> Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
