Growing together. </strong></span></p><p><br><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">The Cardiology Registered Nurse is responsible for providing direct nursing care by applying clinical nursing knowledge and skills, and for ensuring the safety and comfort of patients and families according to legal, organizational and professional standards. The Cardiology RN will also facilitate the Cardiologists treatment plan and collaborate with affiliate providers. The Cardiology RN must also have the ability to triage and evaluate patient with critical cardiac complaints under the direct supervision of the cardiologist on call and via appropriately documented verbal orders</span></p><p><br><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;"><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></span></p><ul><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Graduate from an approved RN nursing program </span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Valid and current Texas RN license</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Critical Care, CCI / ICU, and/or Cardiovascular care experience</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Proven ability to triage and evaluate patients with critical cardiac disease</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Proven ability to use equipment and related supplies for selected patient population and for CPR, oxygen administration and intravenous therapy</span></li></ul><p><br><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;"><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></span></p><ul><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Bachelor's degree in nursing</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Specialty nursing certification appropriate to specialty area assigned</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">ACLS </span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Outpatient clinic experience</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">CRT experience </span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Good knowledge of cardiovascular diagnostic tests and medicines used in the treatment of cardiovascular disease</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Windows based computer skills and EMR experience </span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Proven ability to coordinate patient care across various sub specialties and with affiliate providers</span></li></ul><p><br><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $35 - $63 per hour based on full-time employment.
