Growing together.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;"><strong>Primary Responsibilities:</strong></span></p><ul><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Provide direct patient care for a wide range of urgent medical conditions (sore throat, respiratory illness, rashes and skin infections, sprains and strains, fracture care, cuts, burns and others).</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Perform minor procedures and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., X-rays, EKGs, labs, CT scans, ultrasound, MRI, echocardiogram, PFT, urodynamic tests, and more).</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Develops and implements patient management plans, records progress notes, and assists in provision of continuity of care. Communicates with patients regarding testing results, follow-up care, and additional information. </span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Prescribes pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens as appropriate to assessed medical conditions. Refers patients to specialists and to relevant patient care components as appropriate. </span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure seamless patient care.</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Document patient encounters accurately and timely in the electronic medical record.</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Follows established policies, procedures, objectives, and recommended referral practices. Requires working in a clinical setting. The noise level is moderate and there is a potential for exposure to infectious diseases and blood-borne pathogens. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role.
