<div><p>The <b> General Manager</b> is responsible for overseeing all aspects of a dealership's operations, ensuring profitability, customer satisfaction, and compliance with industry standards. This role requires strong leadership, business acumen, and a deep understanding of the automotive industry.</p> <h3>Responsibilities</h3> <ul> <li>Develop and implement annual business plans and budgets.</li> <li>Monitor and analyze financial performance, including sales & service, profit margins, and expenses.</li> <li>Implement cost-saving measures and strategies to improve profitability.</li> <li>Set and achieve sales goals for new and used vehicles.</li> <li>Oversee the sales team, providing training, coaching, and motivation.</li> <li>Manage inventory levels to optimize sales and minimize costs.</li> </ul> <h3>Customer Service</h3> <ul> <li>Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction throughout the entire sales and service process.</li> <li>Resolve customer complaints and address issues promptly.</li> <li>Implement customer loyalty programs and initiatives.</li> </ul> <h3>Human Management</h3> <ul> <li>Develop and maintain a positive work environment.</li> <li>Manage employee performance and address disciplinary issues.</li> <li>Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing team.</li> </ul> <h3>Compliance</h3> <ul> <li>Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.</li> <li>Maintain accurate records and documentation.</li> <li>Manage relationships with manufacturers and suppliers.</li> </ul> <h3>Marketing and Branding</h3> <ul> <li>In conjunction with the marketing team, develop and implement effective marketing strategies to attract new customers.</li> </ul> <h3>Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>Demonstrates a high “HQ” (Hospitality Quotient) consisting of kindness & optimism, intellectual curiosity, work ethic, empathy, self-awareness, and integrity.</li> <li>5+ years of experience as a General Sales Manager or 3+ years as a General Manager at a franchise dealership with a track record of success.</li> <li>Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills and negotiation abilities.</li> <li>Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.</li> <li>Knowledge of automotive industry trends and best practices.</li> <li>Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.</li> <li>Outgoing, and positive attitude</li> <li>Certifications in automotive management or sales a plus.</li> </ul> <h3>Benefits of Working at Swickard</h3> <ul> <li><b>Career Path –</b>Swickard isn’t just a J-O-B.
