This position emphasizes health promotion, disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, patient education, and continuity of care.</p><p>The CNM works closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, medical assistants, clinical leadership, and community partners to deliver coordinated, evidence-based, and patient-centered care.</p><hr><p><strong>Essential Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li><p>Provide comprehensive outpatient prenatal and postpartum care</p></li><li><p>Perform well-woman examinations, acute visits, preventive care, and family-planning services</p></li><li><p>Deliver evidence-based outpatient care to obstetric patients</p></li><li><p>Diagnose and manage common gynecologic and reproductive health conditions</p></li><li><p>Prescribe medications, contraceptives, and other treatments in accordance with Florida law</p></li><li><p>Provide contraceptive counseling and perform LARC insertion and removal</p></li><li><p>Perform colposcopies, gynecologic biopsies, and other appropriate in-office procedures</p></li><li><p>Provide perimenopausal and menopausal care</p></li><li><p>Order, review, interpret, and follow up on laboratory and diagnostic testing</p></li><li><p>Make appropriate referrals for additional testing, specialty care, treatment, and follow-up services</p></li><li><p>Maintain complete, accurate, and timely electronic health record documentation</p></li><li><p>Complete billing charges and clinical tasks within organizational timelines</p></li><li><p>Collaborate closely with Women's Health providers, nursing staff, medical assistants, and clinical leadership</p></li><li><p>Provide clinical guidance and support to nursing staff and medical assistants</p></li><li><p>Participate in peer review, quality-improvement initiatives, and accreditation-readiness activities</p></li><li><p>Support the education and supervision of residents, graduate nursing students, and allied health professionals when assigned</p></li><li><p>Assist with the coordination of clinical operations within the Women's Health department</p></li><li><p>Participate in limited telephone or after-hours coverage when assigned</p></li><li><p>Practice at multiple TFHC locations when operationally necessary</p></li><li><p>Comply with HIPAA, federal, state, accreditation, HRSA, and TFHC requirements</p></li></ul><hr><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li><p>Master of Science in Nursing, Doctor of Nursing Practice, or post-graduate certificate from an accredited nurse-midwifery program</p></li><li><p>Current Certified Nurse Midwife credential through the American Midwifery Certification Board</p></li><li><p>Active and unrestricted Florida Advanced Practice Registered Nurse license</p></li><li><p>Current Basic Life Support certification</p></li><li><p>Two to three years of experience in midwifery, obstetrics, or women's health preferred</p></li><li><p>Experience performing in-office gynecologic procedures preferred</p></li><li><p>Strong clinical judgment, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills</p></li><li><p>Ability to exercise professional judgment within the scope of licensure</p></li><li><p>Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills</p></li><li><p>Proficiency with electronic health record systems and basic computer
