This position emphasizes health promotion, disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, patient education, and continuity of care.The CNM works closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, medical assistants, clinical leadership, and community partners to deliver coordinated, evidence-based, and patient-centered care.<hr>Essential Responsibilities<ul><li>Provide comprehensive outpatient prenatal and postpartum care</li><li>Perform well-woman examinations, acute visits, preventive care, and family-planning services</li><li>Deliver evidence-based outpatient care to obstetric patients</li><li>Diagnose and manage common gynecologic and reproductive health conditions</li><li>Prescribe medications, contraceptives, and other treatments in accordance with Florida law</li><li>Provide contraceptive counseling and perform LARC insertion and removal</li><li>Perform colposcopies, gynecologic biopsies, and other appropriate in-office procedures</li><li>Provide perimenopausal and menopausal care</li><li>Order, review, interpret, and follow up on laboratory and diagnostic testing</li><li>Make appropriate referrals for additional testing, specialty care, treatment, and follow-up services</li><li>Maintain complete, accurate, and timely electronic health record documentation</li><li>Complete billing charges and clinical tasks within organizational timelines</li><li>Collaborate closely with Women's Health providers, nursing staff, medical assistants, and clinical leadership</li><li>Provide clinical guidance and support to nursing staff and medical assistants</li><li>Participate in peer review, quality-improvement initiatives, and accreditation-readiness activities</li><li>Support the education and supervision of residents, graduate nursing students, and allied health professionals when assigned</li><li>Assist with the coordination of clinical operations within the Women's Health department</li><li>Participate in limited telephone or after-hours coverage when assigned</li><li>Practice at multiple TFHC locations when operationally necessary</li><li>Comply with HIPAA, federal, state, accreditation, HRSA, and TFHC requirements</li></ul><hr>Qualifications<ul><li>Master of Science in Nursing, Doctor of Nursing Practice, or post-graduate certificate from an accredited nurse-midwifery program</li><li>Current Certified Nurse Midwife credential through the American Midwifery Certification Board</li><li>Active and unrestricted Florida Advanced Practice Registered Nurse license</li><li>Current Basic Life Support certification</li><li>Two to three years of experience in midwifery, obstetrics, or women's health preferred</li><li>Experience performing in-office gynecologic procedures preferred</li><li>Strong clinical judgment, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills</li><li>Ability to exercise professional judgment within the scope of licensure</li><li>Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills</li><li>Proficiency with electronic health record systems and basic computer applications</li><li>Bilingual English and Spanish skills preferred but not
