You'll be part of a strong emergency medicine group committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care to our community.</p><p><strong>What You'll Do</strong></p><ul><li><p>Provide comprehensive emergency medical care within a 24/7 Emergency Department</p></li><li><p>Work alongside <strong>35 physicians and 2 physician assistants</strong> in a collegial, team-based environment</p></li><li><p>Rotate between two ED settings:</p><ul><li><p>A regional medical center in Augusta</p></li><li><p>A free-standing emergency department in Waterville</p></li></ul></li><li><p>Manage a combined annual ED volume of <strong>58,000 visits</strong></p></li><li><p>Work <strong>9-hour shifts</strong> with robust clinical backup from more than 250 physicians, including Adult and Pediatric Hospitalist teams</p></li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li><p>Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)</p></li><li><p>Certification or board eligibility through the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) or relevant state licensure boards</p></li></ul><p><strong>Why MaineGeneral</strong></p><p>MaineGeneral is committed to supporting the <strong>physical, emotional, and financial wellness</strong> of its medical staff.
