<p><strong>About the Opportunity</strong></p><p>Mass General Brigham (MGB) is seeking a dynamic and experienced physician leader to serve as Executive Medical Director for Community Physicians. This is a high-impact leadership role focused on advancing clinical strategy, driving value-based care performance, and strengthening partnerships across our growing community affiliate network.<br><br>This leader will play a critical role in shaping the future of ambulatory care delivery-partnering across clinical, operational, and population health teams to enhance quality, access, equity, and provider experience.</p><p><strong>Position Overview</strong></p><p>The Executive Medical Director serves as a key physician leader across the MGB Community Physicians (MGB CP) network, working in close collaboration with the Population Health Services Organization (PHSO) and Office of the Chief Medical Officer (OCMO).<br><br>This role is responsible for driving performance across affiliate practices, leading practice transformation initiatives, advancing value-based care strategies, and identifying and supporting strategic growth opportunities.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li><p>Drive improvements in quality, safety, access, equity, and cost performance across affiliate practices</p></li><li><p>Serve as a physician liaison between community practices and system leadership (PHSO, OCMO, operational teams)</p></li><li><p>Lead practice performance reviews using data and analytics</p></li><li><p>Advance value-based care initiatives and population health outcomes</p></li><li><p>Support practice transformation and innovation including new care models</p></li><li><p>Enhance ambulatory workflows and clinician experience</p></li><li><p>Identify and cultivate strategic growth opportunities</p></li><li><p>Promote physician engagement and well-being</p></li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li><p>Education & Licensure</p></li></ul><p>MD or DO required; Active medical license (or ability to obtain); Master's degree in Public Health or Business Administration required</p><ul><li><p>Experience</p></li></ul><p>5-7+ years of clinical experience in primary care; 8-10+ years of leadership experience in medical management</p><ul><li><p>Skills & Expertise</p></li></ul><p>Experience in value-based care and population health; strong ambulatory operations knowledge; ability to influence physicians; data-driven decision making; partnership development; strong communication skills</p><p><strong>Why Join Mass General Brigham?</strong></p><ul><li><p>Be part of an integrated academic health system</p></li><li><p>Lead transformation in community-based care</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with leaders across population health and clinical operations</p></li><li><p>Competitive compensation and benefits, including PSLF eligibility</p></li></ul><p><strong>Additional Details</strong></p><p>This role includes both administrative leadership and clinical responsibilities.
