Hematology/Oncology Opportunity in Oakland, CA

<p><strong>The Permanente Medical Group, Inc., (TPMG) </strong>is one of the largest medical groups in the nation with over 10,000 physicians, 21 medical centers, numerous clinics throughout Northern and Central California and an 80-year tradition of providing quality medical care.</p><p><strong>TPMG</strong> is seeking a Full-time Hematology/Oncology physician to join our team of excellent physicians in Oakland, CA.</p><p> </p><p><strong>PRACTICE DETAILS: </strong></p><ul><li><p>1.0 FTE seeing a mix of leukemia, lymphoma, and plasma cell disorders with option to build your practice around any of these based on applicant's interest</p></li><li><p>Kaiser Permanente Oakland is the tertiary referral center of KP Northern California</p></li><li><p>Participate in building the first CAR-T cell program within the entire Kaiser Permanente network in Oakland (expected to open early/mid 2025)</p></li><li><p>Attend on the inpatient leukemia/lymphoma service every 6 weeks (hospitalist admits, discharges, writes orders, does LP for IT chemotherapy, PA assistance with BMBx; your role is as a consultant; no clinic duties during this week)</p></li><li><p>Robust case management and medical assistant support</p></li><li><p>Will be expected to see up to 6 patients per half day</p></li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Board Certification or Eligibility</p></li><li><p>Must be eligible to obtain a CA medical license or be currently licensed to practice within CA </p></li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>A FEW REASONS TO CONSIDER A PRACTICE WITH TPMG:</strong></p><ul><li><p><strong>Work-life balance</strong> focused practice, including flexible schedules and unmatched practice support.</p></li><li><p>We can focus on providing excellent patient care <strong>without managing overhead and billing.
