Job description
<p><strong>ALBANY, NEW YORK (USA).</strong> The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Albany Medical College in Albany, NY is seeking a seventh <strong>AP/CP board-certified, Hematopathology fellowship-trained pathologist </strong>to join our expanding Division of Hematopathology.</p><p>Clinical Activities include:</p><ul><li>Hematopathology sign-out (bone marrow, tissue, blood/CSF on a rotating basis)</li><li>Shared Hematopathology call</li><li>A second area of interest is desirable but not required</li></ul><p>Academic Activities Include:</p><ul><li>1-on-1 and group sign-out with hematopathology fellow, residents, medical students and visiting observers</li><li>Didactic lectures, unknown slide conference and supervising residents' presentations such as journal club, gross conference and grand rounds.</li><li>Translational research opportunities are available and participation is encouraged and supported</li></ul><p>Our department places strong emphasis on a positive collegial work culture that fosters shared growth through professionally rewarding mentorship/menteeship opportunities.
