PA, Physician Assistant - Family Medicine

<p><strong>Description</strong><br></p><p>Job Summary</p><p>We are seeking an <strong>experienced Physician Assistant</strong> to join our <strong>Pediatrics/Internal Medicine team in Palestine, TX</strong>. This position provides care to both pediatric and adult patient populations in an outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in <strong>Family Medicine or Internal Medicine</strong> and be comfortable managing a broad range of acute and chronic medical conditions.</p><p></p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li><p>Provide comprehensive primary care services for pediatric and adult patients</p></li><li><p>Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and chronic medical conditions</p></li><li><p>Perform wellness exams, preventive screenings, and routine follow-up visits</p></li><li><p>Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and diagnostic studies</p></li><li><p>Develop and manage individualized treatment plans</p></li><li><p>Educate patients and families on disease prevention, medication management, and healthy lifestyle choices</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure coordinated patient care</p></li><li><p>Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Qualifications</p><ul><li><p>Current Texas license as a Physician Assistant</p></li><li><p>National certification ( ANCC, or NCCPA)</p></li><li><p><strong>Previous Physician Assistant experience in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine required</strong></p></li><li><p>Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills</p></li><li><p>Ability to manage patients across a wide range of ages and medical conditions</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Schedule & Compensation</p><ul><li><p>Full-time outpatient schedule</p></li><li><p>Competitive compensation based on experience</p></li><li><p>Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, malpractice coverage, PTO, CME allowance, and a 403(b) retirement plan with employer match</p></li></ul>
