<p><strong>Pain Clinic Physician (0.75 FTE)</strong></p><p><strong>Salem Hospital - A Member of Mass General Brigham</strong><br><strong>Location:</strong> Salem, Massachusetts<br><strong>Schedule:</strong> 0.75 FTE (approximately 30 hours/week)</p><p><strong>Position Summary</strong></p><p>Salem Hospital, a community hospital and member of Mass General Brigham, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pain Clinic Physician to join our multidisciplinary Pain Management Center. This is a 0.75 FTE position focused on the evaluation, treatment, and longitudinal management of patients with acute and chronic pain conditions.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li><p>Provide comprehensive outpatient pain management services, including patient evaluation, treatment planning, and follow-up care</p></li><li><p>Perform interventional pain procedures as appropriate to training and credentialing</p></li><li><p>Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team including anesthesiologists, physiatrists, behavioral health providers, physical therapists, and nursing staff</p></li><li><p>Utilize evidence-based approaches to improve patient outcomes and enhance quality of life</p></li><li><p>Document all patient encounters and procedures in the electronic health record in a timely manner</p></li><li><p>Participate in departmental meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education activities</p></li><li><p>Provide occasional consultation support for inpatient pain management needs as appropriate</p></li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li><p>MD or DO degree and board certification (or board eligibility) in Anesthesiology, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Neurology, or Psychiatry</p></li><li><p>Fellowship training in Pain Medicine (or equivalent experience) required</p></li><li><p>Eligible for or currently hold a Massachusetts medical license and DEA registration</p></li><li><p>Strong interpersonal, organizational, and team collaboration skills</p></li><li><p>Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care</p></li></ul><p><strong>About Salem Hospital</strong></p><p>Salem Hospital, a member of Mass General Brigham, is the largest community hospital on the North Shore.
