Pain Clinic Physician (0.75 FTE)Salem Hospital - A Member of Mass General Brigham Location: Salem, Massachusetts Schedule: 0.75 FTE (approximately 30 hours/week)Position SummarySalem Hospital, a community hospital and member of Mass General Brigham, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pain Clinic Physician to join our multidisciplinary Pain Management Center. This is a 0.75 FTE position focused on the evaluation, treatment, and longitudinal management of patients with acute and chronic pain conditions.Responsibilities<ul><li>Provide comprehensive outpatient pain management services, including patient evaluation, treatment planning, and follow-up care</li><li>Perform interventional pain procedures as appropriate to training and credentialing</li><li>Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team including anesthesiologists, physiatrists, behavioral health providers, physical therapists, and nursing staff</li><li>Utilize evidence-based approaches to improve patient outcomes and enhance quality of life</li><li>Document all patient encounters and procedures in the electronic health record in a timely manner</li><li>Participate in departmental meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education activities</li><li>Provide occasional consultation support for inpatient pain management needs as appropriate</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>MD or DO degree and board certification (or board eligibility) in Anesthesiology, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Neurology, or Psychiatry</li><li>Fellowship training in Pain Medicine (or equivalent experience) required</li><li>Eligible for or currently hold a Massachusetts medical license and DEA registration</li><li>Strong interpersonal, organizational, and team collaboration skills</li><li>Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care</li></ul>About Salem HospitalSalem Hospital, a member of Mass General Brigham, is the largest community hospital on the North Shore.
