<p><strong>Physician - Cognitive Neurologist - Full Time Academic</strong></p><p>Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport and Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center- Shreveport are currently seeking a Cognitive Specialist to join our outstanding Academic Neurology department and dynamic team. Must be BC/BE and be eligible for a Louisiana license. Leadership opportunities available to qualified candidates.</p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><ul><li><p>Delivering high-quality clinical care to patients with neurological conditions.</p></li><li><p>Medical student and Neurology resident education, including supervision in clinics, grand rounds, and didactic conferences.</p></li><li><p>Participation in departmental activities and contributing to the growth of the Dementia program.</p></li><li><p>Mentoring and providing clinical expertise to faculty and residents.</p></li><li><p>Large patient volume potential and leadership potential. Louisiana has the 5th highest Alzheimer's mortality rate in the US and North Louisiana has a particularly large burden of disease.
