The Department of Urology has active plans to establish a urology residency program. You'll play a pivotal role in training the next generation of urologists while advancing clinical innovation.<br><br>Well-qualified candidates will hold a faculty appointment with the University of Arizona commensurate with experience.<br><br>What Sets This Opportunity Apart:<br><br>- State-of-the-Art Technology: 6 DaVinci robots (DV5, Xi, SP) and advanced urodynamic equipment<br><br>- Contemporary operating rooms with dedicated cystoscopy suites<br><br>- Research, educational, and leadership opportunities<br><br>- Collaboration with dedicated colleagues and community partners<br><br>- Influence clinical protocols, curriculum, and departmental culture from the ground up<br><br>Responsibilities:<br><br>- Clinical duties: Outpatient clinic, inpatient rounding, OR cases, and shared call coverage<br><br>- Subspecialty focus on minimally invasive endoscopic procedures<br><br>- Upper urinary tract pathology (kidneys, ureters)<br><br>- Advanced stone disease management<br><br>- Procedures include, but are not limited to: Ureteroscopy, retrograde intrarenal surgery (RIRS), percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL), and novel BPH treatments<br><br>Qualifications:<br><br>- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Urology<br><br>- Subspecialty Fellowship in Endourology (1-2 years)<br><br>- Unrestricted Arizona Medical Licensure (or eligible to receive)<br><br>- DEA license with current prescribing privileges (or eligible to receive)<br><br>- High-volume stone experience<br><br>- Expertise in laser technology and advanced imaging<br><br>- Proficiency in complex endoscopic techniques<br><br>- Commitment to academic and clinical excellence<br><br>- Experience with diverse patient populations<br><br>- Collaborative mindset to support program growth<br><br>Work Schedule: Full-Time; Monday - Friday + shared call coverage (opportunity for additional paid call)<br><br>Primary Location: BannerUniversity Medicine Phoenix | 1441 N. 12th Street Phoenix, AZ 85006<br><br>Comprehensive Benefits Package:<br><br>Competitive base salary + production incentives (wRVU and quality metrics) + paid malpractice with tail coverage + CME allowance + 401(k) matching and 457(b) deferred compensation + sign-on bonus and relocation assistance + excellent health benefits + career advancement opportunities + optimal work/life balance + dedicated provider well-being resources<br><br>About Banner - University Medical Group Phoenix<br><br>Banner - University Medical Group Phoenix is the academic practice associated with Banner - University Medical Center Phoenix and the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Phoenix.
