<p>A modern, patient-centered oral surgery practice in Hayden, ID is seeking a skilled and compassionate Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon to join our growing team on a part-time basis-with the potential to increase days in the future as demand continues to grow.</p><p><strong>Position Highlights:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Full-time schedule with flexibility and room to grow</p></li><li><p>State-of-the-art, brand new facility with the latest surgical technology</p></li><li><p>Strong and consistent referral base from neighboring Orthodontic and Pediatric Dental partners</p></li><li><p>Collaborative and supportive clinical environment</p></li><li><p>Confidential opportunity with competitive compensation</p></li></ul><p>If you are a motivated and caring Oral Surgeon looking for a confidential opportunity to work in a modern, high-quality setting with an established referral network, we would love to speak with you.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities: </strong></p><ul><li><p>Perform a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures including extractions, dental implants, bone grafting, orthognathic surgery, and management of pathology</p></li><li><p>Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with oral health conditions requiring surgical intervention</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with referring dentists, orthodontists, pediatric dentists, and other specialists to ensure optimal patient care</p></li><li><p>Administer anesthesia including local anesthesia, nitrous oxide, and IV sedation in accordance with state regulations and patient needs</p></li><li><p>Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation and patient records in compliance with HIPAA and practice policies</p></li><li><p>Educate patients and/or guardians on post-operative care, risks, and expected outcomes of procedures</p></li><li><p>Ensure surgical operatory is sterile and equipped with appropriate tools, supplies, and staff support</p></li><li><p>Participate in continuing education and stay current with advancements in oral and maxillofacial surgery</p></li><li><p>Contribute to the practice's reputation for clinical excellence and compassionate care</p></li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications: </strong></p><ul><li><p>DDS/DMD from an accredited dental school</p></li><li><p>Completed residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery</p></li><li><p>Board-certified or board-eligible</p></li><li><p>Active Washington State Dental License (or eligible to obtain) and/or Active Idaho State Dental License</p></li><li><p>Active DEA License</p></li></ul>
