<p><p>Holy Cross Medical Group has an excellent full-time employment opportunity for a Vascular Surgeon to join our well-established group located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.</p><p> </p><p>We are seeking a Fellowship trained, Board Certified or Board Eligible Vascular Surgery physician to join a single specialty practice. The Vascular Surgery team utilizes our Inpatient Hybrid room and Interventional Suites for majority of the procedures. </p><p> </p><p>The ideal candidate will be expected to contribute to the teaching of our General Surgery Residents and will be appointed volunteer faculty at the University of Miami.</p><p> </p><p>Within the practice a comprehensive array of vascular treatment and surgical services are offered including:</p><ul><li>Arterial aneurysms, including the thoracic and abdominal aorta, and peripheral vessels.</li><li>Carotid artery disease for prevention of stroke</li><li>PAD-Peripheral artery occlusive disease-causing exercise-related leg pain (claudication) or limb-threatening ischemia</li><li>Mesenteric and Visceral vascular diseases</li><li>Hemodialysis access for patients with kidney failure</li><li>Venous disorders, including varicose veins.</li></ul><p> </p><p>Requirements for this opportunity include:</p><ul><li>Five plus years experience</li><li>Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.</li><li>Successful completion of an ACGME accredited vascular surgery residency/fellowship and ABS certification in vascular surgery.</li><li>Board certification through the American Board of Surgery with certification of special qualification (CSQ) in vascular surgery - <em>or obtain such certification within 3 years of employment</em>.</li><li>Candidates must possess a current Florida medical license or be eligible for licensure in the state of Florida.</li></ul><p> </p><p>This is an exciting opportunity for the right Vascular Surgery physician to join a growing and well-established practice.</p><p> </p><p><strong>RECRUITMENT PACKAGE</strong></p><p>Holy Cross Health is offering a competitive compensation and benefits package.</p><ul><li>Competitive 2-year guaranteed salary base to begin practice, moving to productivity model after two years</li><li>Starting compensation $590,000</li><li>Excellent benefits; including health/vision/dental insurances</li><li>Malpractice Insurance (including tail coverage) </li><li>CME time & expense allowance of $2,500</li><li>Paid time away from the practice</li><li>403b Retirement savings program with employer matching program</li><li><strong>Loan Repayment:</strong> Our institution qualifies as an eligible employer for the federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program</li></ul><p> </p></p>
