Position SummaryHoly Cross Medical Group in Fort Lauderdale Florida is looking for a Primary Care Physician with a focus on Womens Health to join our team. This role would work embedded alongside our Womens Health Center team including Gynecology, UroGynecology & Gynecology Oncology. This role integrates preventive medicine, chronic disease management, reproductive and sexual health, wellness counseling, and coordination of specialty care.Essential Responsibilities<ul><li>Provide comprehensive primary care services for adult women</li><li>Perform preventive health screenings and annual wellness examinations</li><li>Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions</li><li>Provide gynecologic preventive services including:</li><ul><li>Pap smears and cervical cancer screening</li><li>Contraceptive counseling and management</li><li>STI screening and treatment</li><li>Menopause and perimenopause management</li></ul><li>Coordinate care with specialists including OB/GYN, breast surgery, endocrinology, cardiology, and oncology</li><li>Develop individualized care plans emphasizing preventive health and lifestyle medicine</li><li>Manage conditions commonly affecting women, including:</li><ul><li>Hypertension</li><li>Diabetes</li><li>Thyroid disorders</li><li>Osteoporosis</li><li>Anxiety and depression</li><li>Obesity and metabolic syndrome</li></ul><li>Counsel patients regarding nutrition, exercise, smoking cessation, sexual health, and healthy aging</li><li>Participate in quality improvement, population health, womens health outreach initiatives and philanthropic activities to further grow the program</li><li>Maintain timely and accurate medical documentation within the Epic electronic health record</li><li>Support patient satisfaction, access, and continuity of care goals</li><li>Collaborate with advanced practice providers, nursing, care management, and ancillary staff</li><li>This is a full time position but part-time and flexible schedules will be considered</li><li>This is an ambulatory position.
