Frederick Wildman & Sons<br />Pursuing the vision of our namesake founder, Frederick Wildman and Sons is dedicated to<br />sourcing, distributing and marketing the world's finest wines and spirits to provide profit<br />to our partner suppliers and distributors, a livelihood for our employees and pleasure to<br />wine and spirits lovers throughout the United States.<br />Purpose:<br />Reporting to the Marketing VP, the Brand Manager for New World Wine will lead key<br />activities and support the development and execution of annual brand plans for assigned<br />portfolio. As a hub for brand strategy, this position is both hands-on and strategic,<br />requiring extensive communication and coordination to ensure all stakeholders are<br />aligned to achieve strategic benchmarks.<br />Responsibilities:ALL Support the Marketing team in development of long-term strategies and annual<br />brand plans for assigned portfolio.<br /> Facilitate and manage day-to-day communication with brand ownership to<br />effectively develop strategies that incorporate the realities of the US market and the<br />priorities of suppliers.<br /> Act as main brand liaison with national sales force, collaborating to ensure key<br />strategies and initiatives are implemented in the field and sharing feedback on<br />strategy and market conditions to marketing leadership and global brand teams.<br /> Develop and execute communication and engagement activities for the brand<br />(including, but not limited to, consumer events, video and static communications<br />campaigns, public relations, digital campaigns, content strategy and asset<br />development).<br /> Lead engagement brand activities including, but not limited to, project<br />management, on-time, in-full delivery on essential communication and content<br />assets, adaptation of communication, and execution of in-market events.<br /> Lead creation of assets and content that will enable the brand to maximize targeted<br />marketing initiatives in collaboration with outside agencies, supplier partners and<br />internal cross functional teams.<br />Interpret customized research and trade resources to identify key insights that will<br />drive strategic planning<br /> Research and identify new opportunities to expand brand market share<br />Skills and Qualifications:<br /> Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field<br /> 2-5 years of wine and spirits marketing experience<br /> Significant experience in communication, social and content development<br /> Direct experience leading creative/technical agencies and media partnerships<br /> Experience developing and launching new products<br /> Strong time management and prioritization skills<br /> Self-motivated and solutions-oriented<br /> Passion to learn and use digital analytics tools<br /> Experience with multicultural campaigns is a plus<br /> VIP/ iDIG and/or Nielsen skills a plus<br /> Cultural awareness with the ability to adapt communication style as needed<br /><br />Job category: Sales and Marketing
