Nurses on this unit love the fast pace, higher acuity, and working with a multi-disciplinary team of medical staff & surgeons.<br/>This position is 36 hours per week on the night shift (7p-7a). You will work three 12-hour shifts per week. This position includes weekend and holiday rotation. <br/>NEW GRADS: $4000 Early Acceptance Incentive potential for nursing students who apply at least 6 weeks prior to their graduation date and sign their offer letter within 1 week of when the offer is presented. <br/>The Work:<br/>•Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care plans based on patient assessment to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate.<br/>•Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.<br/>•Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.<br/>•Effectively delegates patient care to ancillary personnel.
