This role coordinates care planning with the multidisciplinary team and renders individualized, age-specific, and direct bedside nursing care based on the nursing process and patient needs. The RN systematically evaluates the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice to support optimal patient outcomes.  </p> <ul><li>Provide safe, evidence-based care to critically ill infants.  </li><li>Act as a clinical leader by assessing, planning, delegating, and using independent judgment to direct other healthcare team members.  </li><li>Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other disciplines to ensure coordinated patient care.  </li><li>Participate in hourly rounding and follow safety guidelines and best practices.  </li><li>Supervise and mentor other members of the healthcare team.  </li> </ul><ul><li>Minimum Requirements <ul><li>Experience: At least 1 year of current hospital-based acute care RN experience in a NICU.  </li><li>Education: Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school.  </li><li>Certifications: <ul><li>Current RN license in the State of Arizona (or compact license),   </li><li>CPR  </li><li>NRP (required upon orientation completion)  </li><li>ACLS as applicable by facility/department  </li> </ul> </li> </ul> </li><li>Preferred Requirements <ul><li>Experience: At least 1 year of Level III NICU experience, including care of infants requiring conventional ventilators, HFOV, central lines, and therapeutic hypothermia.   </li><li>Education: BSN  </li><li>Certifications: Specialty certification a plus. </li> </ul> </li> </ul><p><b>#LI-TW2 </b> </p> </p><p>Tenet AZ Job ID # .
