<p ><p>Tenet-AZ Region is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) OR - Operating Room for a nursing job in Goodyear, Arizona. </p><h3>Job Description & Requirements </h3><ul><li>Specialty: <b>OR - Operating Room </b> </li><li>Discipline: <b>RN </b> </li><li>Duration: <b>Ongoing </b> </li><li><b>36 hours per week </b> </li><li>Shift: <b>12 hours </b> </li><li>Employment Type: <b>Staff </b> </li> </ul><p><p><strong>Sign on Bonus:  Up to $5,000 SOB Based on Eligibility </strong> </p> <p><strong>Job Summary:  </strong>  </p> <p>The Operating Room RN is responsible for delivering safe, effective, and compassionate care throughout the perioperative period. This includes pre-op assessment, intraoperative assistance, and post-op evaluation, always keeping the patient and their family at the center of all decisions. </p> <ul> <li>Perform continuous assessment and develop individualized perioperative care plans.  </li> <li> Prevent surgical errors by adhering to safety protocols, including site verification and accurate surgical counts.  </li> <li>Administer medications and manage specimens in accordance with policies.  </li> <li>Maintain critical system functions (cardiac, respiratory, neurological) and ensure patient safety during procedures.  </li> <li>Promote patient education, engagement, and emotional support before and after surgery.  </li> <li>Ensure patient dignity, privacy, and culturally competent care.  </li> <li>Accurately document all care activities and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team.  </li> <li>Participate in ongoing performance improvement initiatives.  </li> <li>Uphold organizational values and serve as a patient advocate. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Minimum Requirements  <ul> <li>Experience: Minimum 2 years of OR experience in acute care  </li> <li>Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or graduate of an accredited nursing program  </li> <li>Certification:   <ul> <li>Current RN license in the state of practice  </li> <li>BLS and ACLS certifications  </li> </ul> </li> </ul> </li> <li>Preferred Requirements  <ul> <li>Experience: Trauma, neuro, spine, ortho, or vascular procedures  </li> <li>Certifications  <ul> <li>CNOR certification  </li> <li>PALS certification (if applicable)  </li> </ul> </li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p> <br />Let your nursing career find its <strong>purpose at Abrazo Health </strong>—where passion meets performance.  </p> <p><strong>#LI-SW2 </strong> </p> </p><p>Tenet AZ Job ID # .
