<li >Lead mechanical engineering activities across multiple projects, including design, development, and testing of complex mechanical systems, structural components, and equipment assemblies. </li>
<li >Define engineering design requirements and ensure alignment with program objectives using Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles. </li>
<li >Perform feasibility studies, prototype development, and design validation testing to ensure technical robustness. </li>
<li >Oversee and contribute to detailed mechanical designs, engineering drawings, and manufacturing documentation. </li>
<li >Collaborate with cross-functional teams, technicians, and junior engineers to achieve project milestones and resolve technical challenges. </li>
<li >Act as the technical authority for troubleshooting and resolving complex mechanical system issues. </li>
<li >Drive design innovation to improve performance, maintainability, manufacturability, and reliability in harsh/rugged environments. </li>
<li >Review, prepare, and approve technical documentation including engineering reports, test procedures, and variance analysis. </li>
<li >Interface with program management to communicate technical risks, propose solutions, and ensure alignment with delivery objectives. </li>
<li >Lead vendor technical evaluations and review procurement and supplier deliverables for compliance. </li>
<li >Participate in and lead design reviews, ensuring adherence to engineering standards and best practices. </li>
<li >Mentor junior engineers and contribute to building team technical capability. </li>
</ul>
<h5><strong>Qualifications </strong> </h5>
<h5 data-start="1692" data-end="1719"><strong>Education & Experience </strong> </h5>
<ul data-start="1720" data-end="1884">
<li >Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred). </li>
<li >Minimum 5+ years of experience in mechanical design, analysis, and testing. </li>
</ul>
<h5 data-start="1886" data-end="1907"><strong>Technical Skills </strong> </h5>
<ul data-start="1908" data-end="2525">
<li >Strong expertise in materials science and material selection for mechanical/structural systems. </li>
<li >Proficiency in CAD tools such as SolidWorks, CATIA, or AutoCAD. </li>
<li >Experience designing mechanical components including enclosures, mounts, multi-part assemblies, heat exchangers, and structural systems. </li>
<li >Strong knowledge of thermal analysis, stress analysis, vibration, and fatigue analysis. </li>
<li >Hands-on experience with manufacturing processes: machining, additive manufacturing, welding, and sheet metal fabrication. </li>
<li >Ability to interpret mechanical and electro-mechanical drawings for system integration. </li>
</ul>

<li >Experience leading cross-functional or multidisciplinary engineering teams. </li>
