Telecom Engineer

<h5>Roles and Responsibilities </h5> <ul data-spread="false"> <li>Design, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot telecommunications infrastructure and network systems. </li> <li>Support the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of telecom towers, shelters, and critical power systems. </li> <li>Configure, monitor, and optimize microwave radio networks, including: <ul data-spread="false"> <li>Point-to-Point (PTP) systems </li> <li>Point-to-Multipoint (PTMP) systems </li> <li>Licensed and unlicensed frequency solutions </li> </ul> </li> <li>Perform network performance analysis and troubleshoot service disruptions to ensure high network availability. </li> <li>Support OSP fiber network deployment, testing, maintenance, and fault resolution. </li> <li>Coordinate with field teams, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders to execute network projects. </li> <li>Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company procedures. </li> <li>Maintain accurate network documentation, reports, and technical records. </li> </ul> <h5>Required Qualifications </h5> <ul data-spread="false"> <li>Bachelor's degree or diploma in Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. </li> <li>2+ years of experience in telecommunications engineering or network infrastructure. </li> <li>Proven experience with: <ul data-spread="false"> <li>Telecom towers, shelters, and critical power systems </li> <li>Microwave radio technologies (PTP, PTMP, licensed and unlicensed) </li> <li>OSP fiber network deployment and maintenance </li> </ul> </li> <li>Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. </li> <li>Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, network diagrams, and engineering documentation. </li> <li>Excellent communication and coordination skills. </li> </ul> <h5>Preferred Qualifications </h5> <ul data-spread="false"> <li>Experience with network monitoring and performance management tools. </li> <li>Knowledge of fiber testing equipment such as OTDR and power meters. </li> <li>Familiarity with telecom industry standards and best practices. </li> <li>Relevant telecom certifications are an added advantage. </li> </ul>
