As a member of the Sensor Systems Engineering group, you will be working with teams of passionate engineers and scientists who design, analyze, and test systems for the Air and Missile Defense Sector. S. in mechanical, systems, or aerospace engineering, other relevant technical field.</span></li><li><span style="font-family: helvetica; font-size: 12pt;">Have at least five years of experience in sensor hardware design, analysis, manufacturing or assembly.</span></li><li><span style="font-family: helvetica; font-size: 12pt;">Have demonstrated ability with CAD design, analysis and assembly tools such as Ansys, Solidworks, or Creo.</span></li><li><span style="font-family: helvetica; font-size: 12pt;">Have experience with MATLAB or similar computational tools.</span></li><li><span style="font-family: helvetica; font-size: 12pt;">Possess strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.</span></li><li><span style="font-family: helvetica; font-size: 12pt;">Ability to work with informal documentation for design efforts with customers.</span></li><li><span style="font-family: helvetica; font-size: 12pt;">Are able to obtain a Secret security clearance. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level with consideration for internal parity. For salaried employees scheduled to work less than 40 hours per week, annual salary will be prorated based on the number of hours worked. APL may offer bonuses or other forms of compensation per internal policy and/or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be provided in the form of a sign-on bonus, relocation benefits, locality allowance or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
