We are currently seeking a passionate individual who is eager to make a difference in a dynamic healthcare environment.</span></p><p style="margin: 0in; font-family: 'Source Sans Pro'; font-size: 10.5pt;"> </p><p> </p> Responsibilities: <ul><li>Assist as a member of the surgical team who works with the surgeon, registered nurse, and anesthesiologist delivering direct patient care before, during and after surgery.</li><li>The technologist specialist functions as an instrument assistant and may also function as a circulating assistant under supervision of a registered nurse.</li><li>Instruct and supervise orientees in sterile technique, procedures, anatomy, etc.</li></ul> Qualifications: <p><strong>Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>AST certification required and AST or NCCT certification maintained.</li><li>Graduate of a recognized surgical technologist program</li></ul><p><strong>Licensure/Certification/Registration: </strong>AST certification, AST or NCCT recertification.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Motor Vehicle Operator Designation: </strong>Employees in this position: Will not operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose.</p>
