Responsible for daily operation within the Imaging - Ultrasound Department, including patient schedules, reporting equipment failures and quality assessment.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:11px;"><strong>Schedule:</strong> Monday - Thursday, 1 pm - 9:30 pm. </span></p><p><span style="font-size:11px;"><strong>Location:</strong> Rancho Clinic (Las Vegas, NV)</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;"><strong>Primary Responsibilities:</strong></span></p><ul><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Following physician's orders, performs clinical assessment and diagnostic sonography examinations. (OB,ABD, Small parts, and Vascular)</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Uses cognitive sonographic skills to identify record and adapt procedures as appropriate to anatomical, pathological, diagnostic information and images</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Greets, correctly identifies patient, prepares patient for examination and explains specific procedures to be performed in appropriate confidential area</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Analyses sonograms, synthesizes sonographic information and medical history and communicates findings to the appropriate physician</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Accurately maintains patient imaging records, utilizing the Radiology Information System (R.I.S., and PACS/Synapse application in accordance with HIPPA and company guidelines, policies and procedures</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Obtains pertinent medical history from the patient, prepares preliminary reports for radiologist and contacts referring physician when required according to established procedures</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Maintains ultrasound equipment and work area, and ensures adequate supplies are available, contacts service as required</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Monitor PACs/Synapse and RIS database for integrity of patient information and proper transfer</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">May also be assigned to other modalities provided incumbent is certified or licensed in those modalities</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Graduate of a formally accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Active certification by American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Current CPR Certification</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Vascular Certification or ability to obtain in 6 months of hire</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Complete 5 hours of CME specific to Breast Ultrasound within 30 days of hire or hold an active ARDMS Breast Registry</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">1+ years of experience in field</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Basic computer skills</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Knowledge of sonographic equipment</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Knowledge of sonographic procedures and diagnosis</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">3+ years of experience in field</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">EPIC and PACs experience</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10px;">Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva,
