<p>537087 Clinical ASO/AST/Full Professor - Complex Family Planning</p><p>The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Florida College of Medicine is seeking a physician with experience and/or fellowship training in Complex Family Planning (CFP) to join our Academic Specialist General Obstetrics & Gynecology Division.</p><p>This faculty role offers the opportunity for full-scope obstetric and gynecologic practice, with an emphasis on complex contraception, early pregnancy management, and second-trimester procedures. Interest in Labor & Delivery is required. The Department has a strong teaching and research mission, with two current CFP fellowship-trained faculty members, robust residency and student education, and growing opportunities for clinical and collaborative research.</p><p>Required: Board eligible/certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and eligible for a Florida Medical License; commensurate with education and experience</p><p><strong>Classification Title:</strong></p><p>Clinical ASO/AST/Full Professor</p><p><strong>Job Description:</strong></p><p><strong>Clinical Responsibilities </strong></p><ul><li><p>Provide care in early pregnancy management clinics and complex contraception clinics.</p></li><li><p>Perform second-trimester procedures in the operating room.</p></li><li><p>Participate in inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care, including Labor & Delivery coverage.</p></li><li><p>Care for patients qualifying for Florida's pregnancy care law exceptions (fatal fetal conditions and severe maternal indications).</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with faculty across the department to advance patient care, education, and research in family planning.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Academic & Educational Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li><p>Teach and mentor medical students and residents in obstetrics, gynecology, and family planning.</p></li><li><p>Contribute to didactic, simulation, and clinical education within the residency program.</p></li><li><p>Participate in departmental committees, conferences, and academic activities.</p></li><li><p>Engage in scholarly activity and/or clinical research, with opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration across UF Health.</p></li></ul><p><strong> About the Department & UF Health</strong></p><p>The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Florida provides comprehensive women's health services, delivering high-quality patient care while maintaining a strong commitment to education and research.</p><ul><li><p>Nearly 60,000 patient visits and 3,000 deliveries annually.</p></li><li><p>Multidisciplinary programs in maternal-fetal medicine, gynecologic oncology, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, urogynecology, and reproductive endocrinology.</p></li><li><p>Active involvement in clinical innovation, resident education, and NIH- and foundation-supported research.</p></li></ul><p textalign="center" class="text-center" style="text-align: center;"><strong>Expected Salary:</strong></p><p>Negotiable; commensurate with education and experience</p><p textalign="center" class="text-center" style="text-align: center;"><strong>Minimum Requirements:</strong></p><p>MD or DO, or equivalent degree required. Must be board certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) with ongoing clinical activity. All physicians must be ABOG Board certified/Board-Eligible.</p><p>Must be eligible for Florida licensure. </p><p textalign="center" class="text-center" style="text-align: center;"><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Fellowship training in Complex Family Planning (or equivalent experience).</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated excellence in patient care, teaching, and scholarly activity.</p></li><li><p>Experience in collaborative, multidisciplinary care.</p></li></ul><p textalign="center" class="text-center" style="text-align: center;"><strong>Special Instructions to Applicants:</strong></p><p>Applicants must apply online.
