Executive Medical Director of Perioperative Services

<p><strong>Physician / Clinical Leadership</strong></p><p>Oversees physicians and surgeons involved in perioperative operations, including co-management agreements across surgical specialties.</p><p>Works in a dyad partnership with the Vice President of Perioperative Services to ensure effective clinical operations and support the development and enforcement of clinical policies.</p><p>Collaborates with the Department Chief of Surgery to help lead the Perioperative Services Executive Committee (PSEC) and maintains communication on physician-related initiatives and priorities.</p><hr><p><strong>Medical Staff Office</strong></p><p>Collaborates with Medical Staff leadership on matters related to physicians utilizing perioperative services, including governance, compliance, and risk management.</p><p>Supports resolution of physician and APP concerns while promoting a culture of accountability and engagement.</p><hr><p><strong>Quality & Accreditation</strong></p><p>Partners with clinical and operational leaders to improve quality, patient safety, and surgical outcomes across perioperative services.</p><p>Supports accreditation readiness and compliance efforts.</p><hr><p><strong>Physician Relations</strong></p><p>Builds strong relationships with physicians and APPs, supporting engagement and continuing medical education initiatives.</p><hr><p><strong>Education & Experience</strong></p><ul><li><p>MD or DO required, board certified/admissible</p></li><li><p>Minimum 5 years of experience in surgery or perioperative practice</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated leadership in clinical and/or medical staff roles</p></li></ul><hr><p><strong>About the Community</strong></p><p>St. Elizabeth Healthcare serves the <strong>Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky region</strong>, offering a strong balance of professional opportunity and quality of life.
