Job Details

Location: Charlotte, NC
Specialty: Ultrasound Technologist
Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Schedule: 36 hours per week
Shift: 12-hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Weekend Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Average Scans: Approximately 10 per day
Patient Population: Emergency patients including motor vehicle collisions (MVC), shortness of breath (SOB), falls, injuries, and DVT evaluations
EMR: Epic
PACS: Philips iSite
Equipment: Siemens S2000 Ultrasound System
On-Call: 2 nights per month (technologist may choose the two nights)
Holiday Requirement: Must work 75% of holidays

Job Requirements

Minimum 1 year of ultrasound experience in the specialty required
First-time travelers considered based on overall experience
Current BLS certification required
Current ARDMS certification required
Proficiency performing DVT ultrasound studies
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced emergency setting
